Repairing and supplying remanufactured and new Continental Hydraulics – Continental Hydraulics pumps and Continental Hydraulics valves. Search our online catalog or contact us and let us know how we can help you.
It is what we do – keeping customers in operation around the clock.
We can supply what you need or repair what you have. Before purchasing, there may be a good chance that your current hydraulic pump or valve can be repaired. Continental Hydraulics pump and valve repairs come with our two year warranty.
When purchasing, consider Continental Hydraulics remanufactured or after-market hydraulic units. Best of all they can get you back up and running for less than the cost of a new hydraulic unit. We will give you a free quote so you can compare costs for a new, repaired or remanufactured Continental Hydraulics unit.
Continental Hydraulics History
Continental Hydraulics was established in 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The early business was focused on hydraulic components and systems for hydraulics band saws by the parent company, Continental Machines. During the 1970’s and 1980’s the company added directional valves, proportional valves, vane pumps, piston pumps, and hydraulic systems. In 2011, Continental Hydraulics was picked up by Duplomatic Oleodinamica in Italy then in April 2013, the company’s main shareholder became Fund Progressio SGR.
Continental Hydraulics Production
Continental provides directional control valves, control modules and a full line of in-line, sub base and stackable valves. They offer customized options based on client specifications while including processes needing 300 GPM and greater with pressures up 5000 PSI in a wide range of fluids and environments.
Continental Hydraulics Directional Control Valves
Pneumatic – Hydraulic – Manually Operated
Control valves have air pilot actuation, hydraulic pilot actuation and lever actuation. They adapt to NFPA D03 and ISO 4401 mounting standards and come in both 3-way and 4-way styles. All versions have options for 2-position spring offset, 2-position detent, 2-position spring centered and 3-position spring centered versions as well as the lever valve is available in a 3-position detent model.
Direct solenoid operated
Continental solenoid hydraulics valves conform to NFPA D03 and ISO 4401 mounting standards. They come in both 3 way and 4 way styles, offer as 2-position spring offset, 2-position detent, 2-position spring centered and 3-position spring centered versions.
Continental Hydraulics Modular Stack Valves
Check, Flow Control & Pressure Control Relief Valves
Valves include sequencing, shuttle and counterbalance and valve bodies are either aluminum or ductile.
Normally Closed Blocking Valve
Comparative valves have spool configurations allowing oil movement when the system is shut down. Both A and B work ports incorporate a 2-way, 2-position bi-directional, normally closed poppet type solenoid valve. Energizing the solenoid allows for a full flow to the system.
Continental Hydraulics Sub-plate and Inline Valves
Pilot Operated Pressure Relief Valve Series – In-Line Mounting
Vales come in two small sizes and additionally each valve places a main stage poppet with a conical seal design pilot section. Add two to three setting pressures with a modular relief valve between the pilot stage and the solenoid valve.
Pilot Operated Pressure Relief Valve Series
Comes in three sizes. Each valve combines a main stage poppet with a conical seal design pilot section while an optional solenoid valve improves the valve functioning with an unloading feature. Add up to three setting selectable pressures with a modular relief valve in the middle of the pilot stage and solenoid valve.
Continental Hydraulics Pumps
Axial Piston Pumps
Continental Hydraulics’ pumps are more tolerant toward contamination than others, improving constancy and lowering maintenance costs. Pumps have a quiet operation process to level down the meeting system and the sound level standards. This product is for low overall cost in a high functioning variable volume pump.
Variable Displacement Vane Pump Direct Spring Series
Vane pumps work with hydrostatic axial compensation distribution plates and improve volume adeptness while reducing component wear. In zero flow demand conditions, pump delivers oil only to make up for possible leakage, keeping the circuit pressure constant.
