Daikin Hydraulics History
Daikin manufactures radiator tubs for aircrafts and was founded in 1924 by Akira Yamada. Originally the Company was named Osaka Kinzoku Kogyosho LP, but was renamed to Daikin Kogyo Co in 1963. They were finally called Daikin Industries, Ltd in 1982. In 1958 the heat-pump type packaged air conditioner was developed. After two years marketing began for oil hydraulic equipment like valves, pumps and other products. In 2000 Dakin introduced the EcoRich hybrid oil hydraulic pump. A year later Daikin and Sauer-Denfoss Inc. establish a joint venture for the oil hydraulic business. In 2004 the Daikin new oil hydraulic equipment won the Japan Machinery Federation’s Chairmen Award for outstanding energy conservation machinery.

Daikin Hydraulic IPM Motor: The key technology to energy-saving in air conditions technology has been adapted for oil hydraulic equipment. The principle key for IPM motors is the permanent rare-earth type magnet placed deeply in the rotor. This generates a twisting force which creates rotation. Such electromagnetic structures reach high torque with great efficiency and low heat generation. IPM motors have made an outstanding contribution to the global environment.
Daikin Hydraulic Unit Super Unit: The hybrid system uses both single pumps and double pumps which has an energy-saving of 50% with pressure retained at 20.6 MPa. It is used frequently to operate industrial machinery, reducing motor power consumption and increasing energy savings. Reduced low noise levels are achieved at pressure as high as 3000 psi. It has a multi-step pressure and flow rate control with up to 16 patterns in the control unit for pressure and flow rate. This makes pressure and flow rate easily managed.
Daikin Hydraulic Unit EcoRich and EcoRich R: These units achieve impressive energy-savings, autonomously controlling pressure and flow. They monitor oil pressure, minimizing rotating speed while maintaining psi. Touch panel easy operation includes setting pressure and flow rate while display pressure and flow rate digitally.
