Precision Fluid Power handles hydraulic valve repair for servo and proportional valves out of our Oklahoma City hydraulic repair shop. We’ve been in business 35 years, and we rebuild valves from most major manufacturers, hard-to-find and obsolete models included. Each repaired valve comes back tested and covered by a 2-year warranty. Send yours in for servo or proportional valve repair, and we’ll quote it free, for far less than a new valve costs.

With 35 years of experience, Precision Fluid Power is one of the industry’s most trusted hydraulic valve repair facilities. We’re known for our expertise in rebuilding and repairing hydraulic valves, from the smallest to the largest industrial, heavy-duty, and mobile hydraulic servo and proportional valves.
Valves are one part of our hydraulic repair services. For other components, view hydraulic pump repair, hydraulic motor repair, and hydraulic cylinder repair.
We do, out of our shop at 1567 Exchange Avenue in Oklahoma City, OK. Valves come to us from across the country as well. Print our repair packing slip and ship the valve. We’ll send a free quote back before starting any work.
Repair technicians rebuild many hydraulic servo and proportional valves. The repair process may include bench testing, disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, replacement of worn components, calibration & final performance testing. Some units also need torque motor, amplifier or onboard electronic repair. Precision Fluid Power is trusted to repair hydraulic valves and backs them with a two-year warranty.
Proportional hydraulic valves use a variable electrical command to control a solenoid and move the valve spool. Spool travel changes the size and direction of the fluid path, letting the valve regulate flow or pressure in proportion to the input signal. Models use onboard electronics and spool-position feedback to compare the actual position with the command and adjust movement more closely and more carefully.
Servo valves and proportional valves convert electrical commands into hydraulic control. Servo valves deliver faster response and lower deadband. This suits closed-loop systems that might require precise motion. Proportional valves use proportional solenoids and serve systems that need smooth, variable control at a lower cost. Servo-proportional designs use integrated electronics and spool-position feedback, so some valve categories overlap.
Common signs include erratic or slow actuator movement, cylinder drift, unstable pressure or flow & delayed response to an electrical command. A valve sticks. It fails to return to neutral. Or it develops internal leakage. Contaminated fluid, worn spool and bore surfaces, damaged seals, coil faults, and onboard electronic problems create similar symptoms. A controlled performance test identifies the source before any hydraulic valve repair begins.
Each unit requires an individual quote. Cost depends on the valve type, internal damage, electronic faults, replacement parts & test requirements. A cleaning and calibration service costs less than a repair that needs a spool-and-bushing assembly, torque motor or amplifier. We provide free quotes for servo and proportional valve repair.
Ship your valve to our Oklahoma City shop from anywhere in the country. Contact us for a quote and include every name, number, and letter on the unit. A photo of the tag helps us pin down the exact model and quote the right repair.
