Moog Hydraulics began in East Aurora, New York over fifty years ago after Bill Moog developed the electro-hydraulic servo valve. Today, Moog is a designer and manufacturer of fluid controls and control systems that are applied in defensive, industrial, and agricultural device situations.
Moog Hydraulics Servo Valves
Moog Hydraulics Servo valves meter the flow of oil in response to an electrical output signal or command. They help control position, velocity, pressure or force in a machine or device. Servo valves are closed-loop control devices and can be single, double or triple stage designs. They offer a range of styles, sizes, performance characteristics and mounting options for a wide range of applications. These include flow control valves, pressure and flow control valves and valves with special features.
Moog Hydraulics Flow Control Servo Valves
- Fieldbus Interface: Servo valves containing built-in fieldbus interfaces that allows for specific operating parameters to be set, activating the valve and monitoring performance at designated intervals.
- Integrated Electronics: Some Moog hydraulics servo valves have the amplifier card and other electronics in the valve body.
- Without Integrated Electronics: Moog servo valves that use external amplifier cards to convert an input signal into a control current. This drives the servo valve torque motor for more precise control of flow.
